Hygiene & session safety

One client.
A clear session record.

Tools designed to support the artist’s established station routine. Camera prompts cannot establish disinfection or replace professional cleaning.

Build a consistent routine

Clean station. Clear records.

01

Fresh cartridges by client

SE and PRO read chipped cartridges, log needle type and lot number and reject cartridges retired from another client’s session. Cartridge controls support the shop’s procedures.

02

Sessions, not single needles

Start one client session and freely swap liner and shader cartridges. Breaks pause the session using the shop’s configured pause limit. Ending the session retires every cartridge used on that client. Multi-day pieces start a new session each day.

03

Setup checklist lockout

On supported workflows, the motor waits for a completed checklist—gloves, barrier sleeve, station wiped and skin prepped—and a fresh cartridge. Full camera-assisted hygiene and compliance checks are PRO features.

04

Barrier sleeve tags Coming

A tag on each sleeve pack supports a barrier-sleeve setup check.

05

Cleaning log

After each session the system asks for a wipe-down, records the time and flags the machine if it is picked up again without a logged clean.

06

Optional phone camera on a stand

With consent, PRO uses presence/depth/pose checks to support continuity while the selected client remains in the chair, alongside setup and cleanup review. It can record timestamped checklist evidence for sharps-container handling, a wiped station and glove removal, visible to the mentor. It does not identify clients by face.

07

Manual session backup

Start and end sessions by hand in the app when camera checks are unavailable. The shop’s pause timer backs the session workflow. Onboard buffering helps retain data if the phone connection drops; exact device-only start/end controls remain [OWNER TO CONFIRM].

08

Compliance record

Logs cartridges, lot numbers, sessions, checklists and cleanups for shop review and preparation for inspections or insurance requests. Local record requirements remain the shop’s responsibility.

09

UV charging dock Coming

An outside-surface UV cycle while charging, with each cycle logged. It adds to barriers and disinfection; it never replaces them.

10

Booking software connections Coming

Planned connections for client profiles, appointments, deposits and supply reorder alerts with shop booking/payment tools.

Identity without face recognition

Selected client. Consented checks.

The artist selects the client by name, key tag or QR code. Optional pose/depth presence checks support the active session without facial identification.
